Bio

For over 15 years, Erica Medine has dedicated her career to evaluating and treating children and adults of all ages with a wide range of communication disorders.

Erica is originally from NYC and earned her BA in English and Film from the State University of New York at Buffalo and her Post Baccalaureate in Communication Disorders from CUNY Queens College. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from California State University, Northridge in 2007.

As a person who stutters, Erica has devoted much of her private practice to others who stutter. Her expertise extends into the areas of articulation, phonological disorders, aphasia, expressive language, receptive language, voice, early intervention, and pragmatic language. Her deep knowledge, extensive hands-on experience, and warm demeanor converge to improve all areas of communication for individuals with a wide range of challenges, including autism spectrum disorder, stroke, global developmental delays, language disorders and delays, traumatic brain injury, and the use of augmentative alternative communication (AAC).

She has worked with schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private settings and has supervised SLP assistants in a clinical setting. Erica’s private speech therapy practice services the San Fernando Valley (SFV) and West Los Angeles.
